Terms of Business

Guests are advised that the White House is available Friday to Friday from 2.30 pm on their day of arrival and is to be vacated by 11.00 am on their day of departure.

In accordance with our terms of business and in common with other Self Catering establishments, at the time of booking a non returnable deposit equal to 33% the total accommodation fee will be charged to your card. The balance, together with a security deposit in the sum of £150,  will be taken eight weeks prior to arrival. If the booking is made with less than eight weeks prior to arrival the entire fee will be taken. The security deposit will be refunded, subject to a satisfactory property inspection, within two weeks of a guests departure.

In the event of cancellation, or curtailment of stay, for whatever reason, or in the event of non arrival the entire fee for the reservation will retained by the owners, the security deposit will be refunded. If the property is re-let then up to 66% of the reservation fee will be refunded, subject to an administration charge in the sum of £50.

Guests are advised to take out appropriate Holiday cancellation Insurance and to please phone/email to confirm an ETA, at least twenty four hours prior to arrival.

How to find us.

Torquay is on Devon’s South Coast in Torbay. The town is served by National Express Coaches, and a Mainline Railway.( If you require collection from the ’Bus or train stations please advise ) By road take the M5. South Leave the M5 Motorway Junction 31 at Exeter and follow the A380 to Torquay, about twenty miles. Arriving in Torquay, follow signs to the Sea front and Harbour. At the Clock Tower roundabout turn left onto the Babbacombe Road, pass the Museum on the left , turn left into Braddon Hill Road East, go up the hill for about three hundred yards, turn right into Hunsdon Road. The Cary Court Guest House and the White House driveway is the second on the left, after about two hundred yards.
